Whether sunk on purpose or accidentally wrecks offer an interesting insight into the past. Most divers find wrecks interesting as they are intriguing to explore and teeming with aquatic life. This course is designed to introduce you to wreck diving and helps you to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and procedures to safely participate in wreck diving.
Requirements
You need to be at least 15 years old and hold a minimum qualification of Adventure diver.
Course Outline
The course consists of self study and four open water dives. During the course you will learn:
- How to plan and organise a wreck dive.
- How to research your favourite wrecks.
- The proper procedures and techniques for exploring wrecks, including entering intact wrecks.
- The risk factors associated with wreck diving.
- The special equipment considerations for wreck diving.
