Underwater Navigation Course - £175.00
Whether you are diving a reef or looking for a wreck, knowing where you are going makes your dive more fun and builds confidence. This course is designed as an introduction to underwater navigation and helps you to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and procedures to dive safely.
Requirements
You must be at least 10 years old and hold a minimum qualification of Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver.
Course Outline
The course consists of self study and three open water dives. During the course you will learn:
- How to plan and organise dives taking into account the problems and hazards of underwater navigation.
- Methods for estimating distances underwater.
- Natural navigation techniques.
- How to use navigation patterns.
- compass navigation skills.
