Drysuit Diver Course - £125.00 or £75.00 if combined with another course
There are many interesting dive sites to visit in the UK. To be able to dive all year round in our temperate waters a drysuit is essential. It will keep you comfortable and warm which will extend your diving season. This course is designed as an introduction to drysuit diving and will help you develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to dive safely in a drysuit.
Requirements
You need to be at least 10 years old and hold the qualification of Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver.
Course Outline
The course consists of self study, a confined water session and two open water dives. During the course you will:
- Learn the proper procedures and techniques for drysuit diving.
- Learn the risk factors associated with drysuit diving and how to overcome them.
- How to ascend and descend using a drysuit.
- Routine maintenance of a drysuit.
